The UAE's TDRA strictly regulates telecommunications. Only Etisalat and du are authorised to provide SIP trunks and voice services, delivered over private dedicated fibre — not the public internet. This creates a specific situation that every 3CX buyer in the UAE needs to understand before purchasing.

Is 3CX legal to use in the UAE?
